Fiscal 2015 Innovation Fund project, Camp Small, in the news again

In Fiscal 2015, the City's Innovation Fund provided seed money for the Department of Recreation & Parks' Urban Forestry Division and the Baltimore Office of Sustainability to launch a zero waste initiative, Camp Small. Camp Small diverts tree waste from the landfill by selling compost, mulch, wood chips, and logs to a variety of customers, which saves the City money and produces revenue. Camp Small continues to be highlighted as a best practice. Read more about the program in American City and County and Place.
