These improvements have broadened access to secure and expedient parking options for both residents and visitors. Mayor's Office of Employment Development (MOED)
Spotlight Video: One-Stop Career Center Lean Event
The Mayor’s Office of Employment Development (MOED) recently facilitated major changes at their Northwest One Stop Career Center in order to improve the services they were providing to Baltimore City residents. In order to carry out these developments, MOED participated in a Process Improvement Event, made available by the Lean Government Initiative. Upon reviewing practices at the Northwest Center, MOED found multiple ways to streamline processes and expedite the services provided by the Center. After implementing changes that aligned with these findings, the Center has been able to drastically reduce the wait time experienced by residents. As a result, more participants are closer to obtaining employment at a much faster rate than ever before.
